The short version
Overload is a workout log, not a medical service. We don't give health advice, diagnose anything, or sell your data.
If you use the app without an account, your workout history stays in your browser. If you create an account, we store your email and synced workouts on our servers so you can access them across devices.
What we collect
Without an account: workout data (exercises, sets, reps, weights) stored locally in your browser via local storage. We don't receive it.
With an account: your email address and workout data you choose to sync. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) like any web app.
We don't collect payment info — the app is free. We don't run ads.
How we use it
To run the app: show your history, calculate progression suggestions, and sync data if you have an account.
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We don't use your workout data for advertising.
Cookies & local storage
We use essential cookies for session management if you're logged in, and local storage for theme preference and offline workout data.
No third-party ad or analytics cookies from us. If we add privacy-friendly analytics later, we'll update this page.
Your choices
Clear your browser data to remove local workouts. Delete your account from settings to remove synced data.
Use the app without signing up if you prefer everything to stay on your device.
